For April’s Callout, we wanted to bring back something that would test you as much mentally as it does physically. Welcome to the Elevation Ruck! We already know what many of you are going to say, “But I live in Florida, there are no hills here…” or whatever that version of that sentence looks like to you. Well, elevation comes in a lot of variations.
Choose your own adventure! You can either gain 1,000 ft in elevation, ruck up 100 stories, or ruck up 1,500 stairs. Whatever variation of that works best for you, go for it! You’re on the honor system.
This should be a fun one and we want you to bring your friends, so group minimum is 4 people on this one. Cool points for bringing new people and them getting their first patch. Have fun, take cool pictures, and most importantly…Ruck Up!
The Details
- Minimum 4 people
- Distance: No mileage requirement
- Choose your elevation (Note: IT ONLY COUNTS GOING UP)
- 1,000 feet elevation gain
- Ruck up 100 stories
- Ruck up 1,500 stairs
- Minimum ruck weight: 10 lbs. If you’re preparing for a GORUCK event, you should carry the weight listed in the event requirements
